Max is a 12 year old neutered male Westie with a charming disposition in need of a permanent “retirement “ home to call his own. His owner took him to the shelter to be put down because he was moving. Max was brought into Westie Rescue to help him get some necessary veterinary treatment and evaluation on behavior/temperament. He is a low-thyroid patient and does receive one pill per day. The cost is $15.00 monthly to pay for his medication.
This spry gent loves daily walks, does nicely on a leash. Max is a dog that needs to be around his owner a lot, he is unhappy left alone in the yard; he carries past abandonment issues. Affection and reward seem to be his mainstays. Max loves people and other dogs. He loves to snuggle and will make a friendly companion to someone that is a seasoned Westie owner. Max seems to be happiest in the company of mature ladies and prefers a low key lifestyle. He loves to “speak”, and will keep you reminded you are in the company of a very endearing fellow.
